 EcoVadis Gold Medal 2024 - November 2024

For the second consecutive year, Touax has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal in its 2024 CSR assessment!
Touax has obtained a better score than 98% of all EcoVadis rated companies worldwide, which places us among the top-bracket companies assessed by this independent and international organisation, all sectors combined.
With a +7-point increase, our 2024 score reached an impressive 79/100, showcasing a strong balance across the 4 key themes: Environment, Social & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
This achievement reflects Touax's unwavering commitment to sustainable transportation thanks to its 3 assets: railcars, river barges and intermodal containers. This award highlights also the dedication of its people to building a more sustainable world and we are happy to share it with all our customers and stakeholders.

What an incredible few days at Intermodal at Rotterdam! 
Once again, we were thrilled to welcome you to our stand. From building new connections to having insightful meetings, it was a pleasure sharing these busy days with you.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made this event an amazing one.

Our commitment to the environment / August 2024

As part of its commitment to the environment, Touax is proud to announce its partnership with EcoTree France, a French forest manager.
Touax provides its customers with sustainable transport equipment (freight wagons, river barges, intermodal containers), allowing them to decarbonise freight transport through mass solutions that encourage modal shift. 
Regarding our direct and indirect energy-related emissions, we have chosen to increase the proportion of renewable energy used and have adopted an energy-saving policy for our offices and staff travels.
But to go even further, we have chosen to participate in the sustainable management of the Montplonne forest in Meuse (France), which covers an area of 83 hectares and has an estimated long-term carbon sequestration potential of 6,941 tonnes.
More than 64,000 trees will be planted in this forest, which will be supervised and managed by EcoTree foresters according to the principles of a mixed cover forestry. This forest will be a place of biodiversity development and a permanent carbon sink, but this project is also a local socio-economic development which is a key element of our CSR approach.

Touax Asian Team was so happy to reconnect with its business partners, cutomers and suppliers last May at Intermodal Asia 2024 edition. 
We welcomed so many people on our stand, What a great trade show!
Looking forward to seeing you at Intermodal Europe in Rotterdam in November.

Washington DC, hosted in May 2024, the National Portable Storage Association Conference and show and Touax Container was happy as always to welcome its American and Canadian customers on its booth. Touax Group receives "Gold EcoVadis" Medal for its Corporate Social Responsibility approach

We are pleased and proud to announce that Touax Group has been recognized for its outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach by the independent and international EcoVadis organization.
The assessment covers 21 CSR criteria grouped into 4 categories: Environment, Social & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. We have been awarded the prestigious "Gold EcoVadis" medal, which is granted to the top 5% of companies whose practices and reputation are satisfactory in all 4 categories.
Our silver medal in 2022 was a stepping stone towards our pursuit of excellence in CSR practices, which enabled us in 2023 to clinch the gold medal for our second year of evaluation.
Our unique expertise in intermodal, rail, and inland waterway transport puts us in a prime position to contribute to environmental protection by providing a low-carbon mode of transportation. We are proud to comply with the best social and governance practices and to be recognized for our efforts in promoting sustainable transport. We believe that our Corporate Social Responsibility approach is a crucial driver for improving the group's productivity and financial and non-financial performances.
Touax Group is happy to share this award with all its customers and stakeholders and thanks all its employees for their involvement in the implementation of this long-lasting project. You can rely on us to pursue this path and to keep on developing our CSR initiatives.

Intermodal ASIA

On July 19-21, 2023, the Touax Container Asian team attended the latest edition of Intermodal Asia in Shanghai. So nice for Linda SHI, Cheryl LEE, LIonel TEO and Dennis LEE to meet their customers, suppliers and partners in such a friendly and busy atmosphere!

We'll see you all in Amsterdam in October for Intermodal Europe!

 

CSTA Industry Award 2023

The award was presented to Mikkel Falsig, Touax Container North Europe Resale&trading Manager, by Rob Fisher, Event Director of Intermodal Europe, during the CSTA Conference which took place in Manchester, on June 27th -28th. 
The jury was totally seduced by our original container Birthday Cake. We shared it in April to celebrate Touax Container 40 years anniversary with all the participants of the NPSA Conference in Las Vegas.

Another place, another trade show! we were so happy to meet our American and Canadian customers at the last edition of the National Portable Storage Association trade Show & Conferences, begining of April. It was a great opportunity to promote our One-Trip Container set of services, reach new and exisiting business partners and celebrate Touax Container 40 years anniversary!

 

Touax Container at INTERMODAL SAO PAULO 2023!

What a show! Such 3 great days! Touax Global Container Solutions was so happy to be with you, begining of March at Intermodal South America. Looking forward to seeing you there next year. 

 

Touax Container committed to SUSTAINABLE FINANCE

Touax announced that all tranches of its July 2022 facilities agreement for its Containers business have been qualified as Sustainability-Linked Loan.

Touax Group has entered into an ESG extra-financial process lead by EcoVadis. The assessment resulted in a 63 over 100 notation and a Silver medal for Touax for its ESG Performance, ranking then the Group amongst the EcoVadis top 15% of all companies evaluations and amongst the best 8.5% of its industry.
With this transaction the majority of the financing arrangements of the Group (65%) are designed for a better preservation of the environment and for a high standard of compliance with best social and governance practices.

EcoVadis SILVER MEDAL FOR TOUAX GROUP
A new award for Touax Group, in line with our strategy of key leasing operator for sustainable transportation.
For our first participation to EcoVadis International sustainability evaluation program, we entered the closed circle of the 8.5% happy few best companies.
A big thank you to our staff and business partners who made this happened, and be certain that we will keep on working hard to achieve an even better score next year.

Awesome meetings, great team spirit, perfect atmosphere, it was such an intensive and productive 3 days!

NPSA CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW 2022

Over the past weekend on 30th April to 2nd May, Touax Container was very excited to be reunited with many of our best supporting partners and to welcome new customers on our great booth at the NPSA Conference and Trade Show in Denver, Colorado.
It was also time to celebrate a milestone - 10,000 NEW units sold in North America! Touax closest and strongest customers received a special award to thank them for their support in helping us achieve this milestone. All our visitors took home a nice and reusable Touax Container souvenir.
Our plan is to continue growing by securing constant availability, opening new markets, introducing special containers and supporting our industry!

SAO PAULO INTERMODAL 2022

NPSA VIRTUAL CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW 2021
Touax Global Container Solutions was thrilled to be part of the first National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) Virtual Conference & Trading Show in the US, as sponsor and exhibitor. During 3 days (from 27th to 29th of April), we had the opportunity to connect in a very friendly but also efficient and innovative way with so many customers and partners and also to participate in meaningful workshops.

Marco POGGIO, Touax Container CEO, along with other container industry's experts, took part in a very informative conference "SHIPPING CONTAINER SUPPLY: A LOOK TO THE FUTURE", sharing his unique insights on the current state of the industry and how things may evolve in the future.
